Can't say that I've ever had a blog before. After being an avid follower of my sister's blog (http://drozdfam.blogspot.com/), however, I now want to document the excitement, or lack thereof, in my life. So I made this a family blog. I thought Sean might want to post things, too. We'll see. So what's going on with us? As you can see from the picture, we got a dog! Molly joined the family several weeks ago. What is she, you ask? Good question! She's 100% mutt, that's all we know for sure. I got a new car on Thursday night! I use the term "car" loosely. It's really a giant SUV that I've nicknamed Big Bertha. I included a picture of my red beauty. It's a stock photo because I've been too lazy to take a real picture. I'm going to try and start having the camera handy 24/7 for posterity purposes. We went to Curtis Orchard yesterday. Not quite as wonderful as I'd imagined in my head. It fell right in there with searching for a real Christmas tree in the snow. The wind was vicious, the mud was everywhere, and it was a hefty hike to discover that the pumpkins were picked over, the kids whined and complained, and we ended up paying almost $15 for two pumpkins! On the way home we stopped for bread and saw the assortment of perfectly shaped pumpkins at the front of County Market for $3.88 a piece. I was less than thrilled with that discovery. Not sure if the pumpkin hunting will become a family tradition. We're carving said pumpkins tonight. I'll try to remember to take pictures tonight and post tomorrow.
